The Anglers of the Au Sable has three standing commitees appointed by the board of directors (with the exception of the Executive Board, which is established through the organization's bylaws).

Executive Board

The Executive Board consists of the four elected officers of the organixation, plus an elected fifth member, preferably an attorney. The Executive Board convenes to discuss and render decisions affecting the Anglers in liue of convening a full board meeting. For more information...

Events Committee

The Events Committee plans, organizes, and staffs various social functions related to the organization such as a 'Kick Off' reception/event; recognition receptions/dinners to honor significant donors; a campaign celebration event at the successful conclusion of the fundraising effort; and other various events along the way. The Events Commitee also is responsible for oversight of two annual events: the Anglers booth at the Michigan Flyfishing Expo; and the Annual River Clean-Up. Volunteers are always welcome should be familiar with some aspects of planning both small and large functions, from developing a guest list, to sending out invitations, to menu planning, decorations and clean up. Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining the membership activities of the organization, including reporting, reminders, processing, recruitment, incentives, and other activities. Serving on the commitee is Dan Drislane.
